A true revolutionary in the ice business, John Nicholson has been making strides in the ice industry for over 40 years, and continues still to this day. John is a member of the IPIA hall of fame, acknowledged for his many contributions to the ice industry as a whole. Some of which included the advancement of the mass production of ice, similar to what is still in use today. As well as being one of the first to improve packaging, and provide a "premium" ice product we see today.

John and his wife Katy enjoy spending time with their family. His greatest joy is seeing all his four children grow up to be great successes in their chosen fields, and they love spending time with any one of their 8 grandchildren.

John Nicholson is a graduate of San Jose State University.
